Last Saturday night was the epitome of cool in the fashion world. Alexander Wang held his Fall/Winter 2011 Runway show away from Lincoln Center at an old warehouse in Pier 94 on the West Side Highway. This was not an easy venue to get to but that didn't stop A-listers like Anna Wintour, Kanye, and photo bloggers we love like the Sartorialist and Garance Dore from missing the show. Wang's palette was simple: black, blush, heather grey and cream. Designs were downtown cool mixing leather with see-through fabrics, ponchos accessorized with leather leg warmers, and chunky knit dresses.
