Across the nation, fashionistas are prepping for Fashion Night Out. I was lucky enough to live in New York City for a few years where the event was created by the fabulous Anna Wintour. My friends and I would get dressed up and shop-hop around the city, rubbing elbows with celebrities and designers but really enjoying the free cocktails. I look forward to this day every year because of how accessible stores and celebrity designers are and of course because it marks the beginning of New York Fashion Week. I was thrilled to see Austin taking part in Fashion Night Out and knew my sister and I would tear it up. We mapped out our evening weeks ago but since then our priorities have shifted due to the heartbreaking coverage of damages in Central Texas caused by the wildfires. Lucky for us, many of the participating sponsors of Austin FNO felt the same and have now included donations drop-offs and fundraising effort at their events. Drop by the following events of Thursday and Friday for an opportunity to help out those in need.
