Despite the black slush that covers the city, there is a beacon of hope for a brighter future as we look to Fall 2011. Forced to keep bright colors to my underoos in fall, I can finally say goodbye to boring earth tones and hello to bright, vibrant colors. I'm talking fluorescents, y'all! Fashion Week only started yesterday but trends for fall are obvi. Magentas, electric blues, and fiery reds, oh my! Designers are mixing feminine lace and see-through tops with leather skirts and grunge-like cargos. Hooded sweaters, hooded vests, and oversized, chunky knitwear are everywhere! Stay tuned for more Fall trends.
