Jewel Mint

Jewel Mint is the brain child of Kate Bosworth and Celebrity Stylist and Designer, Cher Coulter. It's a kind of jewelry of the month club - before you can shop you have to create your style profile, once that's complete the website recommends pieces of jewelry it thinks you'd like. If you don't love a piece of jewelry they recommend you can "x" it out and a new piece will pop up. The best part of joining this exclusive club is that each piece is only $30 and shipping is free! I've heard the best pieces go fast so you have to log in constantly to see whats new and act fast if you fall in love!

Here are a few of my favorite pieces from www.jewelmint.com....

Marrakesh Earrings

Jackie O Earrings

Lunar Blue Necklace

Lady in Red

Wearing red can brighten any day and with the dreary weather we've had in New York City lately, it is just the sort of pick-me-up I need. Don't limit red to only clothing. The color red is just as powerful on a purse, a nail color or a lipstick.

Paris: Men's Fashion

My FiancĂ© said it best, "Parisians understand that men need to look good too."

From what I saw on the streets of the Latin Quarter, Montmartre and Marais the men in Paris are wearing structured, fitted clothing, loving bright colors and are not afraid of accessories!

More Paris Trends!

In Paris, less is more. The jewelry is small, the hair is simple and the clothes are worn classically. Don't get me wrong, Parisian women don't shy away from the hottest trends, they just style them minimally.

These are a few of the trends I saw on the streets in Paris...

Oxfords & Bright Pants

Bow Tied Bottoms

Monochromatic

Straw Handbags

Palazzo Pants

Although making a rather late entrance, we are so grateful for Spring because it brought with it clothing that allowed us to move freely therefore, drink margaritas freely.
First Maxi skirts, then loose white dresses, and now Palazzo pants.

Piggybacking off of Sara's last post about print-heavy Harem pants, Palazzo pants are equally popular this spring and summer. Palazzo pants are a wide-leg version of Harem pants. Made from light-weight, often silk material, they can be dressed up or dressed down. The best part is they are flattering on every body type.

I plan on pairing my palazzo pants with a tucked in tee (tank or loose fitted), cross shoulder strap and clogs or a funky pair of wooden heels. A messy bun on top would complete the look.
